Arsenal star Mesut Özil has hit the ground running in the 2015-16 season where as Cesc Febragas – who Özil was frequently compared too last season – has been the subject to quite a bit of criticism.
Özil was in top form for Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace last weekend, providing five key passes, assisting Olivier Giroud’s goal and maintaining a passing accuracy of 98%.
Fabregas on the other hand struggled in Chelsea’s opening two games against Swansea and Manchester City.

In two games Özil has created nine chances, Manchester City’s David Silva seven and Fabregas created three.
Özil has a total of one assist in two league appearances for the Gunners this season. Özil enjoyed a trophy-laden pre-season winning the Asia Barclays Trophy, Emirates Cup and Community Shield.
The Gunners moved into 11th place on three points after two games following the win over Palace. Arsenal take on Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium this weekend.
