Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil ranked Europe’s third most creative player – Behind ex-West Ham star
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil is officially the third-best creator in all of Europe’s Big Five leagues this season.
The 29-year-old has been in impressive form for the Gunners of late but missed Sunday’s defeat to Bournemouth due to a knee injury.
Ozil has been linked with a move away from the north London based club after failing to pen a new deal. The former Real Madrid star could end up leaving the club for free in the summer.
According to stats from The Sun, Ozil is averaging an impressive 3.44 chances created per game.
However, he is behind record signing Neymar who is averaging 3.86 chances per game for PSG.
Meanwhile, ex-West Ham United star Dimitri Payet is the No1 creator in Europe with a staggering 3.87 chances per game.
Ozil has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks. The 29-year-old has a good relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho spanning from their days at Real Madrid.
