Arda Turan won the battle of the Turks last night as Atletico Madrid eliminated Bayer Leverkusen from the UEFA Champions League.
Turkish international Arda Turan started for the Rojiblancos and was awarded the Man of the Match award by AS.
Both Hakan Calhanoglu and Omer Toprak missed penalties during the penalty shootout.
Atleti are currently fourth in the Spanish league, nine points behind league leaders Barcelona. The Rojiblancos take on Getafe next in the league in the mini Madrid derby.
