Atletico Madrid to rival Arsenal in £25m pursuit of Barcelona star
Arsenal have been closely linked with a move for Barcelona star Arda Turan over the past few months.
The Times reported that Arsenal are preparing a £25 million move for Turan as a potential replacement for Mesut Ozil.

CNN Turk meanwhile, recently claimed that Barcelona had accepted the Gunners proposal and are set to sell him at the end of the season.
Claims that Turan will be joining the Gunners were strengthened following reports that he recently brought property in Chelsea.
The North London outfit could however, face competition from Atletico Madrid who have also entered the race.
Spanish football magazine Don Balon claim that Atleti are leading the race to sign Turan.
The Turkish international is no stranger to the Madrid based outfit.
Turan made a name for himself at Atleti under the stewardship of Diego Simeone before joining Barca in 2015.
The experienced attacking midfielder faces an uncertain future at Barcelona.
It remains to be seen what Enrique’s replacement has in store for Turan but he does have another three-years remaining on his contract.
Turan has 13 goals and seven assists in all competitions for the reigning La Liga champions this season.
