Balıkesirspor can still make it out of the relegation zone says manager [divider]
Balikesirspor suffered their third consecutive defeat following their 1-0 defeat against Gençlerbirliği on the weekend.
The newly promoted side are currently last in the Süper Lig with just 13 points from 21 games but manager Kemal Özdeş still believes his side can ensure league survival.
“Our job is really tough now but it is not impossible, we can still survive,” Özdeş told Lig Tv after the game.
Balıkesirspor are performing the worst out of the three sides promoted from the PTT 1. Lig last season.
Başakşehir are currently fourth in the Süper Lig and have one of the best defensive records in top-tier European football.
Mersin Idman Yurdu have won their last three back to back games and are currently in 7th place just three points off a top four position.
Balıkesirspor face a tough trip against 2nd place Beşiktaş next week, the game will be played in Ankara. The Black Eagles have won four out of their last five league games.
