Barcelona star Arda Turan did his bit for Turkish tourism yesterday by encouraging his followers to travel to his country of birth.
Turan shared a link to the Conde Naste Travller which offers a luxury travel guide for Bodrum, the Datça peninsula, the Turkish coast and the bearded wingers home city Istanbul.
The Turkish international star sent out a tweet on his official Twitter account describing Turkey as an ‘extraordinary destination for holiday’.

Turkey is an increasingly popular holiday destination for Spaniards with over 350,000 tourists visiting in 2008 alone.
Spain is home to a small Turkish community of 4,000 with Turan among one of the leading pillars in the community.
Turan first moved to Spain in 2012 joining Atletico Madrid from Galatasaray on a then record move from the Super League.
The 29-year-old winger has settled in to life in Spain picking up the local language and has a home in Madrid and now in Barcelona.
