Arda Turan may not be able to play for Barcelona as of yet due to the FIFA transfer ban but he has been in great for the Turkish national team.
In fact Turkey are unbeaten in their last 11 games 10 of which Turan started in and booked a place in the European Championships this summer with the bearded winger playing a key role.
Turkey held Greece to a goalless draw and Turan took to doing diplomatic work bridging ties with his neighbours.
Turkey and Greece have not always shared the warmest of relations but that has been changing lately and Turan went out of his way to shake hands with the Greek prime minister and introduce him to his teammates.
The Turkish international captain shared a tweet expressing his delight at the role football can play in building ties between countries.

Turan also showed off his English skills when introducing the Greek prime minister to his teammates. Perhaps he will also start to learn Spanish as well.
