Barcelona team news: Barca receive major injury boost ahead of Atletico Madrid game 

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has received a major injury boost ahead of this weekend’s encounter with Atletico Madrid in the Spanish League.

Atleti will host Barcelona at the Vicente Calderón stadium on Sunday, kick-off is at 15:15 (GMT).

Barcelona returned to training on Thursday following a two day break.

Arda Turan returned to first team training after missing Barcelona’s two previous games due to a groin injury.

The Turkey international is fit to play against his former side this weekend.

Arda Turan spent four years at Atleti after joining from his boyhood club Galatasaray for £11 million. The flamboyant midfielder won the La Liga and Europa League while at Los Colchoneros.

Turan has been in impressive form for Barcelona this season with seven assists and 13 goals in 27 apperances for the reigning La Liga champions.
