Albayrak revealed that Besiktas hope to keep Talisca at the club on loan for another season but that Benfica hold the keys to the deal.

Besiktas have the option to sign the Brazilian attacking midfielder for £19 million.

Talisca has a £21 million release clause which can be activated by any interested club but Besiktas have the right to first refusal.

Besiktas would not be able to activate Talisca’s release clause due to financial constraints.

The Black Eagles do have the option to sign the 23-year-old on loan for another season if his release clause is not activated.

Besiktas could face competition from Manchester United who have been closely linked with the in form Brazilian.

Turkish-Football have reported that United have been keeping close tabs on Talisca this season.

Radyospor host Leven Umut Erol recently shared a video stating that he received information that United are considering a summer move.

Erol said: “Manchester United have made an offer to Benfica for Anderson Talisca that will trigger his release clause, it looks like he will be saying goodbye to Besiktas.”

Talisca has been in great form this season scoring a career high 16 goals and providing four assists.

The powerful midfielder would have to make an appeal to the Home Office on the grounds of being a player capable of contributing to Premier League football.
