Christian Benteke will remain at Crystal Palace until the World Cup is over says agent
Cristian Benteke will not leave Crystal Palace over the winter transfer window according to his agent Eris Kismet.
Benteke has been linked with a move to Besiktas in the Turkish press but will be staying at Palace in January.
The Belgium international will not be moving anywhere before the World Cup.
“The likelihood of Benteke moving there or anywhere else in January is zero. He will not be going anywhere before the World Cup. A part exchange deal for Cenk Tosun is simply not on the table,” Kismet said.
Palace have been closely linked with Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun after narrowly missing out on the striker this summer.
A part-exchange with Benteke has been reported in the Turkish press as being on the cards but Kismet denied the rumour.

Benteke has yet to score a single goal in 12 appearances for Palace this season.
His form has started to become a problem according to head coach Roy Hodgson.
Speaking before Crystal Palace’s trip to play Leicester, live on Sky Sports from 11:30am on Saturday, Hodgson said: “Of course when your front player – the man who is a pivotal focal point in your attack – is not scoring, it’s a concern.
“It’s a concern to him, it’s a concern to us and it’s a concern to fans.
“He can do nothing more than keep working at it, keep working very, very hard.”
Palace have only scored 12 Premier League goals this season – only last placed Swansea have scored lesss.
The 27-year-old does have another three-years remaining on his contract.
The Belgium international joined Palace from Liverpool for £28 million in 2016.
