Zengin sustained a muscle tear injury during the Istanbul derby against Fenerbahçe.

The Turkish international keeper had only just recovered from a previous injury.

Black Eagles manager Slaven Bilic has been criticised for rushing Zengin back before he had fully recovered.

The Turkish international has conceded 23 goals and kept nine clean sheets in 29 appearances in all competitions for Beşiktaş this season.

Zengin has conceded a total of 58 goals and kept 23 clean sheets for the Black Eagles since joining.

Beşiktaş ended up losing the derby 1-0 at the Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium and failed to move back into first place in the Süper Lig as a result.

The Black Eagles will take on Başakşehir next in the Süper Lig following the international break.
