Besiktas have joined in on the race to sign Aston Villa defender Aly Cissokho.
The Turkish newspaper AMK have stated that the Black Eagles are in contact with the France international. Trabzonspor are also in talks with Cissokho according to Haberturk.
Cissokho is likely to provide cover for Ismail Koybasi if he joins the Istanbul giants in the summer.
The 28-year-old does however, have another two-years remanning on his current deal with Aston Villa but could be tempted to leave following Aston Vill’as relegation from the Premier League.
Trabzonspor have been targeting Premier League players recently and also brought in Marko Marin on loan from Chelsea over the summer transfer window. The Turkish giants have a buy-out clause option but have yet to activate the clause.
Cisskokho has made 18 appearances in all competitions for Villa this season but spent the first half of the season on loan at Porto.
