Beşiktaş set to sign Chelsea defender [divider]
Beşiktaş are set to sign Chelsea defender on loan according to Eurosport Turkey.
The Black Eagles have been keeping close tabs on Zouma as they continue efforts to sign a defender in January.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has reportedly given the green light for the 20-year-old defender to leave and gain experience.
The young defender has fallen down the pecking order behind Gary Cahill and club captain John Terry.
Zouma joined Chelsea from Saint-Étienne for £12.85 million last January but has played just two games in the Premier League and three games in the UEFA Champions League this season.
Beşiktaş have been in talks with Chelsea over a deal for close co-operation between the first teams, academies, training support and joint scouting projects.
Black Eagles president Fikret Orman recently confirmed that they were working with Chelsea to sign a player.
“We are working together with Chelsea to sign a player,” Orman said.
