Besiktas surge ahead of West Ham as they hold talks with Juve star striker
Besiktas officials have flown to Torino to hold talks with Juventus over the signing of Mario Mandzukic.
According to Fotomac, Besiktas president Fikret Orman traveled to Italy last week to negotiate with Mandzukic’s agent and club.
Meanwhile, the the Sun states that West Ham United are also interested in signing the experienced striker. The daily tabloid states that the London based club want to bolster their attacking options following a disappointing season.
Mandzukic has struggled in front of goal this season and has just seven goals to his name after 37 games for Juventus.

Besiktas are on the look-out for a new striker ahead of next season with Vincent Aboubakar’s loan deal coming to an end this summer.
The Black Eagles are currently in the quarter-finals of the Europa League and take on Ligue 1 giants Lyon on Thursday.
