Besiktas take on Genclerbirligi at the Fatih Terim stadium hoping to close the gap with league leaders Fenerbahce.

The Black Eagles are currently second just two points behind Fenerbahce but have two games in hand.

Beiktas will go first with a win against Genclegrbirligi today and still have a game in hand however, the Ankara based side will be no pushovers.

Genclerbirligi have found a new lease of life following the appointment of Ibrahim Uzulmez as head coach. The former Besiktas star has guided his side to three consecutive wins in his first three games.

Besiktas are unbeaten in their last seven league games but have grinded out a draw against Basaksehir and a narrow victory against relegation battling Mersin.

The Eagles will be without Brazilian defender Rhodolfo remains injured, but welcome back Boyko, Marcelo and Alexis, who were ruled out for their midweek clash against Mersin.

The Eagles have not been at their best recently but have been able to find a way past their opponents.
