Caner Erkin given one-match suspension [divider]
Fenerbahçe left-back Caner Erkin has received a one-match suspension the PFDK revealed today.
The disciplinary body charged Erkin with a one-match ban following his direct red card against Trabzonspor last week.
However, Erkin will be permitted to play on the weekend in the league against Gaziantepspor after serving his suspension in the Turkish Cup game against Rizespor.

The game against Trabzonspor ended in a goalless draw and saw Istanbul rivals Beşiktaş overtake Fenerbahçe and move into 1st place with 44 points.
Erkin was closely linked with a move abroad in the summer but signed a two-year contract extension with Fenerbahçe instead.
The Turkish international has a total of five assists and one goal in 21 appearances for the Canaries in all competitions this season.
Erkin had 14 assists and three goals in 30 Süper Lig appearances last season.
The 26-year-old made his debut for the Turkish national team in 2006 and has gone on to score twice in 36 games for the Crescent-Stars.
Fenerbahçe will regain top spot if they beat Gaziantepspor and if Beşiktaş draw or lose against Bursaspor.
