Chelsea could be back in race to sign on-loan Inter left-back says agent

Chelsea could be back in the race to sign Galatasaray left-back Alex Telles according to his agent Fernando Otto.

The agent responded to questions regarding interest from Chelsea by underlining the Blues have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian.

“Chelsea expressed an interest over the summer and have monitored him,” Otto was quoted as saying by Ajansspor.

Otto did however, underlined that he is currently happy at Inter working under the stewardship of Roberto Mancini.

“Telles is happy working with Mancini and wearing the Inter shirt,” he added.

The 22-year-old joined Inter on a one-year loan from Galatasaray and was accompanied by Felipe Melo who was transferred on a permanent deal on the transfer window deadline this summer.

Telles still has another two-years remaining on his Galatasaray contract and was closely linked with a number of Italian and Premier League clubs over the summer.

Galatasaray replaced Telles with Lionel Carol at left-back suggesting that they could be open to parting ways with the Brazilian over the summer transfer window when he returns to the club.
