Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma nears exit as Blues prepare to land £50m rated Netherland international

Galatasaray have received a boost in their hopes of landing Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.

According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are preparing to loan Zouma out this summer.

Per the source, Chelsea are lining up a move for Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk. The Netherland’s international has been valued at £50 million by the Saints.

Zouma has battled back to full-fitness this season after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury last February.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes Zouma needs to play regularly first team football next season. The France international is unlikely to do so at Stamford Bridge with Van Dijk’s imminent arrival.

The Turkish outlet AMK states that Galatasaray are interested in loaning Zouma this summer.

The Lions are on the lookout for a new defender with Aurélien Chedjou set for a summer exit.

Zouma has made 15 apperances for Chelsea this season. Chelsea take on Middlesborough this weekend as they look to protect their lead at the top of the table.
