Chelsea are reportedly keeping their options open regarding a potential summer acquisition of Galatasaray’s in-form striker, Victor Osimhen.
This revelation comes from BBC journalist Nizaar Kinsella, suggesting the Blues are poised for a significant overhaul of their attacking line-up following the current season.

With the expectation of bolstering their forward options alongside Nicolas Jackson, Chelsea are anticipated to adopt an “aggressive” approach in the upcoming transfer window, targeting a new number nine.
Kinsella indicated that previous negotiations with Napoli for the Nigerian international last summer were hampered by what Chelsea deemed “prohibitive” wage demands.
Despite Osimhen’s consistent performance the 26-year-old is unlikely to compromise on his salary expectations and could command a weekly wage of £400,000 at his next club.
Osimhen has enjoyed a stellar loan spell at Galatasaray this season, showcasing his prowess with an impressive tally of 33 goals and eight assists across 38 appearances in all competitions.
His outstanding form has led to high praise, with some quarters even labelling him “the best striker in the world.”
With just over a year remaining on his contract, which expires in June 2026, Osimhen is widely tipped to depart Napoli this summer.
Chelsea’s continued interest signals their intent to secure a top-tier forward despite the potential financial hurdles.
