Chelsea given major transfer boost as Bayer Leverkusen prepare to sell £32.5m target
Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to sell Hakan Calhanoglu this season according to reports in Turkey.
Fanatik report that Calhanoglu are prepared to part ways with the 23-year-old.
Bayer are preparing for a major squad overhaul but want to keep hold of rising stars Julian Brandt, Benjamin Henrichs and 17 year-old Kai Havertz.

Per the source, Bayer will also listen to offers that match their valuation for Karim Bellarabi, Chicharito and Kevin Kampl.
Calhanoglu does have a £32.5 million release clause but the repot does claim that the Bundesliga outfit could be convinced to accept a lower bid.
The Turkish international has been closely linked with a move to Chelsea over the past few months.
Calhanoglu was recently involved in a transfer controversy regarding Chelsea.
The attacking midfielder was quoted by Fanatik as saying: “In May I will get married, God willing, I will be a Chelsea player next season.
“There are also a number of other clubs interested in signing me.”
The free-kick maestro did however, deny the quotes.
I said nothing about Chelsea in the press & didn’t talk to any Turkish journalist – neither about the court decision nor about my future!

Fanatik did not retract the article and Calhanoglu did end up getting married in May.
Calhanoglu scored seven goals and seven assists in all competitions before picking up his suspension and has another two-years remaining on his contract.
