Chelsea Mulls Over January Move for Osimhen

Chelsea is reportedly considering making a move for Victor Osimhen in the upcoming January transfer window according to Team Talk.

The Nigerian striker joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli this summer after failing to secure a permanent transfer to Chelsea during the previous window.

Despite his impressive form at Napoli, Chelsea was unable to meet Osimhen’s wage demands.

However, with a potential reduction in his release clause and the opportunity to assess his performance at Galatasaray, Chelsea may reassess their interest.

Osimhen has made a positive start at Galatasaray, scoring in his debut match against Rizespor.

His goal-scoring ability and overall performance have likely increased his appeal to Chelsea.

While Chelsea has other attacking options, Osimhen’s quality and experience could be a valuable addition to the squad.

The club may consider making a move for him in January, especially if they are not satisfied with the performances of their current strikers.

However, Chelsea will face competition from other top clubs in Europe and the Middle East if they decide to pursue Osimhen.

As things stand the striker will stay at Galatasaray on loan until the end of the season and he got off to a great start putting on an impressive performance in the 5-0 win over Rizespor.
