Chelsea news: Euro giants plot summer raid for Spanish international ace, Conte could sell
Besiktas are plotting a summer move for Chelsea attacking midfielder Cesc Fabregas according to Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac.
Per the source, the Black Eagles have started plans to sign the Spanish international player.
Besiktas president Fikret Orman was recently in London along with club officials.
Orman along with club official Umut Güner met with officials from Chelsea and watched the Blues 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace.
Besiktas are not the only side eyeing a move for Fabregas.
The experienced attacking midfielder cost the Blues £27 million from Barcelona in 2014.
Italian giants AC Milan are considering a bid for the same fee at the end of the season according to the Telegraph.
Don Balon meanwhile report that Atletico Madrid are also considering making a move for the former Barcelona man.
Per the source, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte could be tempted to sell Fabregas who has largely been used from the bench this season.
Conte has preferred the partnership of Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante this season.
Despite struggling for a regular first-team spot Fabregas has started four of the Blues last six Premier League games.
