Bony had a disappointing 18-month period at City after joining on a £28 million move from Swansea in 2015.

The Ivory Coast striker was loaned to Stoke last summer to revive his career but has been dumped by the Premier League outfit.

Bony has just two goals in 11 appearances for Stoke in all competitions and has not featured in a league game since the end of December 2016.

The report claims Galatasaray are prepared to offer up to £12 million for the 28-year-old.

The Lions could however, struggle to pay £12 million over the summer for Bony due to being under the watch of Financial Fair Play.

Galatasaray were suspended from European competition for breaking FFP regulations this season.

The Istanbul giants will have to be careful not to overspend this summer as the suspension can be extended for an additional season.
