Kasımpaşa defender Kenneth Omeruo was delighted with his sides 3-0 victory away to Gaziantepspor on the opening game of the 2015-16 season.
The on-loan Chelsea defender put in an impressive performance contributing to the Istanbul based side keeping a clean sheet over the 90 minutes.
The match was Omeruo’s Süper Lig debut so he was understandably excited after the game.
Omeruo shared an Instagram picture celebrating one of the goals with his teammates alongside the caption: “Great win yesterday and a clean sheet.. first game is always important. #teamko # omeruo #teamwork #osinachi #kasimpaşa”
Omeruo joined Kasımpaşa from Chelsea on loan and the Süper Lig outfit have a future buy-out clause option to sign the 21-year-old on a permanent deal until next summer.
The young defender was snapped up by Chelsea in January 2012 and spent last season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old defender was part of the Middlesbrough team that ensured promotion to the Premier League last season.
Kasımpaşa take on Başakşehir in the mini Istanbul derby next week and Omeruo is expected to start.
