Chelsea have one in three chance of drawing Turkish giants depending on Liverpool & Tottenham results

Chelsea finished Group C runners up following their 1-1 draw at home to Atletico Madrid on Match Day 6.

The Blues secured a place in the Last 16 draw but cannot face another English side or the winner of their own group – Roma.

Therefore should Liverpool win their respective groups tomorrow the reigning Premier League champions will have a one in three chance of drawing Besiktas.

Chelsea will only be able to draw PSG, Barcelona or Besiktas if the Reds win their respective games.

PSG, Barcelona and Besiktas have already guaranteed first place in their groups.

Liverpool head into Match Day 6 as group leaders but Sevilla could end up pipping them for the top spot.

The Reds need a point at Spartak to be sure of qualifying or win to secure a first place finish.

Sevilla will qualify if they beat last placed Maribor. If the La Liga side top the group they also have a chance of drawing Chelsea in the next round.

Currently three Premier League sides have secured top spot; Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham.

Besiktas meanwhile take on Red Bull Leipzig on Match Day 6 in Germany on Wednesday.

Black Eagles boss Senol Gunes is expected to make several changes and has left Pepe, Babel, Quaresma, Atiba and Tolgay out of the squad.
