Chelsea are expected to extend the contract of 22-year-old midfielder Mario Pasalic according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Croatian international has entered the last 12 months of his contract.
Despite never actually playing for the Blues first team the Premier League champions want to renew his deal.

Pasalic has spent the last few seasons on loan at Elche, Monaco and AC Milan.
The midfielder faces no guarantees of actually playing for Chelsea even if he signs a new deal.
Per the source, the Blues plan to loan him out again.
There have been no shortage of suitors with Leeds United, Lazio and Valencia showing an interest.
Meanwhile, the Milliyet newspaper claim that Blues boss Antonio Conte has given Galatasaray the all clear to sign Pasalic.
The report claims that Conte is prepared to let Pasalic join his former Juventus teammate Igor Tudor who is currently the manager of Galatasaray.
Tudor has actually coached Pasalic in the past, during his time in charge of Hajduk Split.
