Chelsea target Arda Turan’s place at Barcelona under threat if Luis Enrique leaves
Arda Turan’s position at Barcelona may be under threat if manager Luis Enrique leaves at the end of the season.
A source close to the player has revealed to Turkish-Football that the 30-year-old is unsure of his Barca future despite having three years remaining on his contract.
Turan has been recently linked with a move to the Premier League leaders Chelsea and has brought a new house near Stamford Bridge stadium.
Barca boss Luis Enrique’s future at the club has been called into question following the 4-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League.
The Catalan giants also find themselves a point behind league leaders Real Madrid – who have two games in hand.

If Enrique does leave, it could leave Turan in an untenable position. The signing of Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid was a hotly contested decision at the time.
Barca presidential candidate Agustí Benedito criticised the decision to go ahead with signing Arda back in 2015.
“I spoke to him and told him that signing Arda is an act of disloyalty, an attack on the club’s democratic spirit,” Benedito was quoted as saying by Marca.
Turan revealed that it was Enrique who made the transfer happen.
Turan told the Turkish outlet NTV, “Luis Enrirque wanted me at Barcelona, he does not want me to leave on loan either, he is the reason I am here.
“Perhaps it is because one of my strengths is keeping possession and not giving away the ball, I had a good record at Atletico Madrid in terms of ball retention.”
Turan has been in impressive form for Barcelona this season with seven assists and 13 goals in 27 apperances.
Luis Enrique’s side take on title rivals Atlético Madrid in the league this weekend at the Vicente Calderón stadium.
