Chelsea transfer news: Euro giants hold talks in London with Blues over Spain international
Besiktas president Fikret Orman has traveled to London to hold talks with Chelsea over their star midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
The Turkish outlet Aksam has stated that Orman and Besiktas representative Umut Güner will hold talks with Chelsea to discuss the possibility of signing Fabregas.
Per the source, Orman is keen to finalise the deal as soon as possible.
Fabregas – who has two-years left on his contract – has scored six goals and provided eight assists in 27 appearances for Chelsea this season.
The Spain international joined Chelsea from Barcelona for £27 million back in 2014 (Telegraph).
Aksam go onto stat that the Besiktas President is also looking into the possibility of signing Mesut Ozil from Arsenal and Falcao from Monaco.
Besiktas are looking to make further improvements to their squad this summer as they look to establish themselves as Istanbul’s top team.
The Black Eagles also harbor ambitions of winning a European competition. Besiktas are currently in the quarter finals of the Europa League and will face Lyon next week.
