Club official remains coy over future of £30m Chelsea & Newcastle target Cenk Tosun
Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun has been in great form this season, scoring a total of 11 goals in including four in the Champions League – as well as two assists.
The Turkish international has attracted widespread interest from across Europe but the Black Eagles are not keen on selling him in January.
Club vice-president Ahmet Nur Cebi revealed that they do not want part ways with Tosun although he could not rule out the possibility of their stance changing depending on events.
“We have no plans to sell Cenk Tosun, will this be the case in the future? that we don’t know, it may chance,” Cebi said.
“Our current stance is clear, we want Cenk to stay on.”

Turkish-Football have already reported that Newcastle are interested in the star striker and have been keeping close tabs on him.
Chelsea have also been scouting the Black Eagles star man Cenk Tosun as confirmed by club general secretary Ahmet Urkmezgil.
Urkmezgil said: “Cenk has come so far, he is a great player who has reached the highest level.
“Chelsea sent club officials and a scouting team to watch him during the derby.”
Besiktas value Tosun as being worth £30 million.
The Black Eagles are open to selling the Turkish international but only at the end of the season.
The reigning Super Lig champions booked a place in the Champions League Last 16 as Group G leaders – the first Turkish side to do so.
