Dortmund maintain interest in Tottenham target Malli

Borussia Dortmund have maintained their interest in signing Yunus Malli from Borussia Dortmund.

According to Sport1, Malli’s proposed January Dortmund deal collapsed after Maniz decided against selling the Turkish international midway thought the season.

The report goes onto state that the Bundesliga giants are plotting a summer move for the Malli who has a €9 million release clause.

Tottenham had scouts present at Maniz’s game against Hanover 96 on Saturday according to Tutto Mercatto. The Italian outlet state that Spurs are interested in signing the Turkish international and are monitoring the Malli’s performances.

Malli played for the Germany U21 side as a youth but has decided to switch allegiances and represent the country of his parents.

The 23-year-old is expected to be called up to the Turkish national team for the European Championships in France over the summer.

Malli midfielder has eight goals and has provided two assist in 22 appearances for Maniz this season.
