Emre Belözoğlu returns to first team training

Emre Belözoğlu has returned to first team training ahead of Fenerbahce’s clash with Mersin Idmanyudu this weekend.

The Yellow Canaries cannot afford to drop more points after their disappointing 1-1 draw with Kayseri Erciyesspor on Wednesday.

The Turkish international rejoined todays training session which was headed by Ismail Kartal. Emmanuel Emenike was only able to participate in light training and will miss this weekends encounter.

Emre was sidelined for Fenerbahce’s game against Erciyesspor during the week but is expected to be included in the starting line-up tomorrow.

The 34-year-old has three assists and four goals in 25 games for Fenerbahce this season.
