Emre Can says Liverpool must be fully focused on every game

Liverpool team news

Emre Can has said that Liverpool must be fully focused on every match if they are to achieve success this season.

“The Germany u21 international went onto state that every game is an opportunity to learn something new,” Emre Can said in an interview with Liverpool’s official website.

“We take no rival lightly, and we know we have to be 100 per cent engaged throughout every match.”

“We all have to learn from each match we play and take away something positive”

Can will be hoping to move into central midfield this season after spending the last league campaign as a makeshift defender in Rodgers back-three and to a lesser extent a right-back.

The young midfielder recently told the Anfield Wrap: “Of course, we talked about this. The manager has said he sees me as a midfielder, and that’s where I want to play in the near future.”

The Germany u21 international made a total of 27 appearances for Liverpool last season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.
