Turkish Super League giants Besiktas have tabled an offer for Chelsea’s controversial striker Diego Costa.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Besiktas are in direct talks with Chelsea. The Black Eagles want to sign Diego Costa on a six month loan deal.

Per the source, Costa’s agent Jorge Mendes wants his client to move away from Chelsea until January and then join Atletico Madrid.

Atletico are currently barred from making any signings due to a transfer ban in place.

The report goes onto state that Serie A giants AC Milan are also interested in taking Costa on loan.

However, Besiktas will be able to offer the Spain international UEFA Champions League football.

Costa will also have the opportunity to rack up a high goal tally in Turkey. The Black Eagles have finished the last two seasons as the highest goal scoring side in the league.

Diego Costa played a key role in Chelsea’s title-winning season. The Spain international provided eight assists and scored 22 goals in 42 appearances for Chelsea last season.
