Everton Expected Lineup To Face Burnley – Big Sam Receives Double Boost, Tosun Battles For Start Ahead Of Niasse

Everton take on Burnley in the Premier League hoping to return to winning ways after suffering a 1-0 defeat against Watford on their last outing.

The home side have not won any of their last 11 games but remain in 7th place, clear of the relegation battle.

The Toffees have won the fewest percentage of Premier League points this campaign away from home (24% – 8/34), while Burnley have won the lowest percentage in home games (51% – 19/37).

Everton have actually picked up just one win from their last 22 Premier League games.

Big Sam is facing an injury crisis heading into the game.

James McCarthy, Maarten Stekelenburg, Eliaquim Mangala, Ramiro Funes Mori are all out.

There was however, some good news as Seamus Coleman and Leighton Baines are both closing in on a return to full fitness.

Cenk Tosun will be battling for a starting role upfront after Oumar Niasse struggled to make an impact against Watford forcing Sam Allardyce to question his forward line.

Tosun has not started any of the Toffees last four games but did impress over the warm-weather break in Dubai and did play the last half-an-hour against Watford.

Baines is unlikely to be match fit to start but could make the bench.

Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott are likely to keep their place in the three man attack.

Allardyce has used a 4-3-3 setup the last two weeks so we are keeping with that.  Rooney, Gueye and Davies are likely to feature in midfield.
