Everton provisional squad revealed ahead of Liverpool clash – Star defender a major doubt, £27m singing could make debut

Everton have revealed their provisional squad ahead of tonight’s Merseyside derby.

The Toffees take on their bitter rivals Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup while kick-off is scheduled for 19:55 (GMT).

While £27 million signing Cenk Tosun hasn’t been included in the squad, the star striker could still make a late entry if the paperwork can be sorted in time.

Everton could be without their star defender Michael Keane due to an injury. The England international suffered a foot injury during is sides defeat to Manchester United on New Year’s Day.

Sam Allardyce’s side come into tonight’s derby following a defeat at the hands of Man United at Goodison Park.

The last meeting between Liverpool and Everton in the FA Cup took place back in 2012 at Wembley. The Reds recorded a victory following goals from Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll.
