Everton Transfer Saw ‘Plenty Of Good Things’ Against Liverpool
Everton may have lost 2-1 against rivals Liverpool in the FA Cup Third Round clash at Anfield last Friday but latest signing Cenk Tosun saw the positive in the result.
Tosun shared an image on Instagram of himself wearing the No 14 Everton shirt alongside a caption revealing that he saw ‘plenty of good things’ against the Reds.
The 26-year-old did not complete his transfer in time for the Liverpool clash but is expected to make his debut against Tottenham on Saturday.
Tosun also underlined that he ‘believes he will score goals for the Toffees’.
The Turkey international has already scored 14 goals and provided three assists this season.
Tosun netted four times and provided two assists in the Champions League for Besiktas who finished Group G as leaders.
To all Evertonians! I am delighted and so excited to be an Everton player and I can’t wait to pull on the shirt to start competing in the Premier League. I saw plenty of good things in last night’s game from my teammates and I believe I will score goals for the Toffees. That’s what I’m here to do. I can’t wait to get started! 👍⚽️💙
