Besiktas have reached an agreement with Everton over the transfer of Turkey international striker Cenk Tosun.

Besiktas are expected to make an official announcement on the Istanbul stock exchange regarding the transfer – as is required by law in Turkey.

The Toffees are on the verge of completing the move after lengthy talks with Besiktas president Fikret Orman, director of football Ali Naibi and director Umut Guner.

Black Eagles president Fikret Orman arrived in London with a delegation from the club on Wednesday.

All that remains is for the final details to be sorted. The clubs have been negotiating the length of payment instalments.

Tosun has been in London since new years eve. The 26-year-old is expected to travel to Merseyside at some stage today to complete the transfer.

Besiktas will give Tosun the green light when to make the trip.

This all depends on a breakthrough being made on a deal over the method of payment the Black Eagles.

The striker is expected to remain in London until Besiktas give him the all clear.

Tosun will strike a four-and-a-half year deal with Everton is everything goes to plan.
