The brief camp game Cenk Tosun the opportunity to prove himself to Sam Allardyce again after being dropped for the past three games.
Duncan Ferguson and Daniel Amokachi revealed they were impressed with Tosun over the mini-break.

Big Sam is facing an injury crisis heading into the clash as Eliaquim Mangala, James McCarthy, Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka are all out, while Seamus Coleman, Idrissa Gueye and Ramiro Funes Mori are doubts.
Allardyce does however, have first-choice striker Oumar Niasse available and unless he had a change of mind in Dubai the Senegal international is likely to start.

Niasse scored and provided an assist in the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace in their last Premier League game.
The 27-year-old also scored the last time Everton player Watford back in November at Goodison in a dramatic 3-2 win.
