Everton transfer news: Euro giants give Toffees two day deadline to sort star striker transfer

Everton striker Oumar Niasse has continued to be linked with a move away from Goodison Park this month.

Despite the English transfer window slamming shut last week, Niasse can still join Turkish side Fenerbahce. The Turkish Super League’s window closes on September 9.

According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, the Istanbul based club have given Everton two days to make a decision regarding the transfer of Niasse.

Per the source,  Fenerbahce want to sign the Senegal international on a season-long loan deal with a €7 million option-to-buy clause included.

Fenerbahce are keen to bolster their attacking options this summer following a slow start to the season.

Niasse is no stranger to the Turkish Super League. The 27-year-old previously spent two years at Turkish minnows Akhisar Belediyespor before moving to Russia.

Fenerbahce appear to be the only club showing a strong interest to sign Niasse.

Everton host Tottenham at Goodison Park this weekend in the Premier League.
