Fenerbahçe have released an official statement denying reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp.
The Yellow Canaries stated that the latest rumours are malicious attempts by sections of the press to disrupt the team during a critical stage in the title race.
Klopp was reported to have entered talks with Fenerbahçe according to a report in the Turkish newspaper Sabah.
The statement read: “The Sabah report claiming Fenerbahçe are in advanced talks with Klopp are false, Ismail Kartal is the clubs manager, we urge the media in question to stop trying to play mind games and disrupt the team.”

Doğan News Agency (DHA) also claimed that Klopp had arrived in Turkey for negotiations with the Yellow Canaries.
The German manager recently confirmed that he will be leaving Dortmund at the end of the season and has also been closely linked with taking over at Liverpool as well as Manchester City in the summer.
Current Fenerbahçe head coach Kartal is expected to part ways with the club at the end of the season despite being in the title race and the semi finals of the Turkish Cup.
