Fenerbahçe are reported to have turned their attention to 19-year-old Nigerian international Simon.

The young forward is a product of the GBS Academy in Nigeria and is expected to represent his country in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

After joining the GBS Academy in Nigeria at the age of eight, Simon joined Ajax in 2013.

Simon already featured for the Nigerian Under-20 side and is tipped to be a key part of the country’s future on the international scene.

Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool are also reported to be keeping tabs on the Nigerian youngster according to Afkinsider.

Fenerbahçe will not be affected by the foreign player ruling next season.

The Yellow Canaries will be able to sign 14 and play 11 foreign players at any one time following the rule changes implemented by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) that come into effect next season.
