Five Premier League clubs in race for Chelsea defender, Galatasaray also plotting summer move

Five Premier League teams have joined the race for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma according to Tutto Mercato Web.

The Italian outlet do not name the five Premier League sides plotting a move for the France international.

The Mirror recently reported that the Blues are preparing to loan out Zouma so that he can gain experience playing regular football following his knee injury which ruled him out for most of the season.

A source close to Galatasaray has confirmed to Turkish-Football that Galatasaray are keen on signing Zouma on a temporary move this summer.

Lions head coach Igor Tudor feels his close ties to former Juventus teammate Antonio Conte could prove pivotal in pulling off the loan deal.

The Istanbul giants have made bolstering their defensive line a priority. Galatasaray have conceded the highest number of goals in the Turkish league top four.

The Lions have had success loaning young defenders from the Premier League recently. Manchester City centre-back Jason Denayer spent a year on loan at Galatasaray last season.
