The former Leicester City midfielder Esteban Cambiasso could be on his way to Besiktas according to LigTV
The Black Eagles are on the look-out for a new central-midfielder following the injury to Tolgay Arslan.
Arslan has been ruled out for at least six months after teaching a knee ligament during pre-season training.
Cambiasso future at Leicester City is in doubt after his agent confirmed that a new deal had not been signed.
The experienced midfielder’s agent tweeted, “Stop rumours, Cambiasso is still a free agent, waiting to hear and make a decision.”
The Argentina international was Leicester’s player of the season and has previously worked with the newly appointed Claudio Ranieri at Inter Milan.
The 34-year-old joined Leicester CIty on a free transfer from Inter Milan last summer. Cambiasso has previously played for Real Madrid, Ricer plate and Independiente.
Cambiasso scored one goal and provided five assists in 33 appearances for Leicester last season.
