Former Liverpool wonderkid Samed Yesil joins new club
Former Liverpool striker Samed Yesil has completed a move to the Greek Super League side Panionios.
A source close to the player has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that the 22-year-old has struck a deal with the Greek club and has put pen-to-paper confirming the move.
Samed arrived with high expectation to Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen back in August 2012. However, the young striker suffered a string of long-term injuries which kept him out of the Liverpool first team.
The Germany U19 international was loaned out to the Swiss side FC Luzern but failed to impress. Liverpool opted against extending Yesil’s contract and allowed him to leave on a free over the summer.

Yesil came close to joining Trabzonspor but was unable to agree terms with the Black Sea based club.
The young striker has made two assists and has found the back of the four times in 17 appearances for Luzern this season.
