Galatasaray will face Italian outfit Lazio in the Europa League Round of 32 following the draw that took place in the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzterland.
The Lions qualified for the Round of 32 after finishing their Champions League group in third place with five points.
The Istanbul giants will be one of two Turkish representatives in the competition this season – the other being cross-city rivals Fenerbahçe.
Galatasaray are the only Turkish side to have won the competition under its former name the UEFA Cup back in 2000. The Lions have also won the European Super Cup.
