Galatasaray have held talks with the agent of Chelsea winger Marko Marin according to Yeni Safak.
The report states that Marin’s agent has offered his player to the Lions and that his offer is currently being considered.
Marin is no stranger to Turkish Super Lig football having played on-loan for Trabzonspor last season.
The Germany international has returned to Chelsea following the end of his loan stay but he is unlikely to stay at the Blues.
Marin recently revealed that he does not expect to be part of Cheslea’s plans for next season but has not ruled out the possibility of a future in London.
“It’s difficult. You not only need a few good matches at Trabzon, but a very strong year. You never know, but right now it does not look like it,” Marin told Kicker.
Marin has one-year remaining on his contract and Galatasaray and considering bringing him in on a cut-price deal.
Galatasaray will however, be unable to offer Marin, European football after being banned by UEFA for breaching Financial FairPlay rulings.
The Lions could face competition from fellow Super Lig outfit Rizespor to sign the 26-year-old.
