Galatasaray have tabled a contract offer for the Uruguay international right back Maxi Pereira according to Ajanspor.
The Istanbul giants have offered the 31-year-old a two year deal at €3 million per season. Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera is also understood to be involved in negotiations.

Galatasaray could face competition from Stoke City as the Premier League club have been keeping tabs on the 30-year-old according to the Daily Mail.
Pereira is free to discuss terms with any club after his contract with Benfica expired at the end of June.
The Uruguay international provided 11 assists and scored five goals in 42 appearances for Benfica last season.
Pereira has made 99 appearances for the Uruguay international side and was present at this years Copa America tournament in Chile.
Galatasaray will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season after securing their 20th league title this season.
