Galatasaray have been linked with a move for Barcelona’s out-of-favour defender Adriano.
The Turkish sports newspaper Fotospor have stated that the Turkish Super Lig giants are preparing a contract offer for the Brazil international.
Adriano joined Barcelona for €9.5 million back in 2010 from Sevilla. The 31-year-old’s contract with the La Liga giants expires at the end of the season.
Galatasaray are currently on the lookout for a new left back as they look to offload Alex Telles in the summer.
UEFA suspended Galatasaray from European competition for a season for breaching financial fair play rules. The Lions take on Bursaspor in the Turkish Super Lig today and find themselves in sixth place with 44 points in 30 games.
Adriano has two assists and one goal in 19 appearances for Barcelona this season. The Catalan giants take on Real Betis this weekend as they look to defend their lead at the top of the league.
