Galatasaray is determined to keep Victor Osimhen beyond his current loan deal, according to deputy chairman İbrahim Hatipoğlu.
Osimhen joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli in September after failing to secure a permanent move to Chelsea.

Rumors swirled about potential break clauses in the loan agreement that could allow other clubs to sign him in January.
Several Premier League sides have been linked with a winter move for the Nigeria international.
However, Hatipoğlu has dismissed these rumors, emphasizing that Osimhen’s contract with Galatasaray runs until June 2025.
He further stated that the club is already planning to extend the Nigerian striker’s stay beyond next summer.
“Osimhen’s leaving in January is out of the question,” Hatipoğlu said, in quotes relayed by NTVSpor.
“In fact, we are making plans to have Osimhen play next season as well. Osimhen is a Galatasaray player until June. Discussing this is aimed at changing the agenda, at spoiling the pleasure of watching Osimhen. The player shows how devoted he is to Galatasaray in every match.
“A person plays where he is happy. He has a contract with us until the end of the season. He is very happy to have come to Galatasaray.
“We should think about how he will be together with Osimhen in the following seasons. There is no need to discuss whether he will leave during the break.”
Making Osimhen’s move permanent could be a challenge for Galatasaray.
His Napoli contract reportedly includes a €75 million release clause, a far cry from the club’s current record transfer fee of €18 million paid to Norwich City for Gabriel Sara this summer.
The Red-Yellows would probably have to break the bank to get hold of Osimhen on a permanent deal.
Osimhen has got off to a great start providing two assists in his first two games including the derby victory over Fenerbahce.
