Gaziantepspor boss accuses Bursaspor of playing rugby [divider]

Gaziantepspor manager Okan Buruk accused Bursaspor of playing rugby following their 2-1 loss against the Green Crocodiles.

“You would only see tackles like this in a game of rugby,” Buruk said speaking after the game.

“Chico got sandwiched by Bursaspor players, the referee did not call one foul against Muhammet Demir. 

“Referees cannot officiate games based upon who the name of the club is. 

“They must call what they see, what is this blatant favouritism, it is not on. 

“Gaziantepspor are a Süper Lig side as well, we play in this league as well and we demand to be treated fairly. 

“This game really hurt, I cannot accept us being treated like this, we were robbed, I really hope this does not happen again, it is totally unacceptable.”

Gaziantepspor dropped into 10th place following the loss and face a tough trip away to Eskişehirspor next week.
